Position Summary

The Assistant Manager plays a vital role in supporting the General Manager with the day-to-day operations of the club—ensuring a world-class member experience, driving performance, and leading a motivated team.

This position is also a proven on-ramp to becoming a Club Manager. You’ll receive hands-on leadership experience, professional development, and exposure to all areas of club management, preparing you to advance within the Crunch Fitness organization.
 
 
Key Responsibilities

•       Support the General Manager in all aspects of club operations, including sales, service, staffing, and facility management.

•       Recruit, train, and develop team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve club goals.

•       Drive membership and personal training sales, as well as member engagement and retention initiatives.

•       Lead by example in creating a positive, inclusive, and high-energy club culture.

•       Ensure the club meets Crunch standards for cleanliness, maintenance, and operational excellence.

•       Step into the leadership role when the General Manager is off-site or unavailable, acting as the point of contact for both staff and members.

•       Collaborate with the training and group fitness departments to promote classes, programs, and personal training services.
 
 
What We’re Looking For

•       Previous supervisory or management experience, preferably in fitness, hospitality, or a customer-focused industry.

•       Strong leadership and coaching abilities; ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

•       Proven ability to drive revenue and meet or exceed performance goals.

•       Experience with group fitness, personal training, or fitness instruction is a strong plus.

•       Multilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

•       Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

•       Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

•       Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

•       Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals.

•       High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or fitness certifications a plus.

Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
