Crunch Fitness in Scranton, PA is looking for a Lead Front Desk and Sales Associate to join the team!
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Greet all members & guests with a smile and wish them well as they exit the club
- Check in all members and guests in accordance with company procedures
- Facilitate any messages on club software at member check-in
- Answer phones in courteous, helpful, professional manner
- Communicate special events to members and guests
- Maintain an atmosphere, which makes members feel welcome
- Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager
- Maintain professional disposition at all times
- Schedule member services: tanning, personal training, etc.
- Facilitate payment of member services in accordance with company procedures
- Know club facility, services, and schedules
- Responsible for external Membership Sales, bringing the business in.
- Gives tours and trial memberships to prospective members.
- Activate new memberships.
- Upgrade existing members into memberships of greater value.
- Contact members that are past due and/or in collections
- Engage in opportunities that positively impact the member experience.
- Adhere to all operational excellence standards related to providing a great member experience.
- Consistently look for opportunities to gain new members and gain new Personal Training clients.
- Reach and surpass monthly sales projections.
Qualifications:
- Previous sales and customer service experience a must.
- Fitness club experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Enthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendly disposition
- Personal passion for health and fitness
- Enjoy working within a team
- Willing and able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
