Member Services Representative | Crunch Fitness

Overview
Help bring a brand-new Crunch Fitness to the community! Join the opening team at Crunch Fitness, owned & operated by Fit Fusion, LLC, as a Member Services Representative (MSR). You’ll build excitement, meet future members, and help grow the club from the ground up.

Before opening, you’ll connect with people at local businesses and community events, follow up with prospects, and sell founding memberships. Once the doors open, you’ll continue in the MSR role, supporting membership sales, member service, and daily club operations—including keeping the club clean and guest-ready.

Presale Responsibilities
  • Bring Fit Fusion’s outreach strategy to life through local business visits, community events, and other approved lead generation activities.
  • Start meaningful conversations, build relationships, and get the community excited about the new club.
  • Use our listening-first approach to understand prospect needs and connect Crunch offerings to their interests and goals.
  • Explain membership options, planned amenities, and presale offers accurately.
  • Capture accurate lead information, follow up with prospects, address objections, and turn interest into membership enrollments.
  • Meet assigned lead generation expectations and contribute to the club’s membership sales goals.
  • Participate in General Manager-led training, role-playing, and coaching, and apply what you learn.
  • Process membership agreements and payments accurately, maintain an organized presale workspace, and support assigned opening preparations.
Responsibilities After Opening
  • Welcome and check in members and guests, address account alerts, and answer calls and questions professionally.
  • Conduct personalized club tours, follow up with prospects, sell memberships, and achieve assigned sales goals.
  • Explain available amenities, promote membership upgrades and retail products, and connect members with personal training and other services.
  • Support member onboarding and retention, assist with service requests, and refer concerns to club leadership when needed.
  • Process agreements, payments, and purchases accurately and maintain complete records in company systems.
  • Complete assigned cleaning and sanitizing duties, follow operational and shift checklists, and promptly report safety or maintenance concerns.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Sales or customer service experience preferred, ideally in fitness, retail, hospitality, or another service environment.
  • Comfortable approaching new people, visiting local businesses, participating in community events, conducting club tours, and asking for the sale.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of people.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, receptive to coaching, and comfortable working toward measurable goals.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately enter prospect, membership, and payment information.
  • Willingness to perform member service, cleaning, and operational responsibilities once the club opens.
  • Availability to work the assigned schedule, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Before opening, work may take place within the fitness club, at a designated presale workspace, or at local businesses and community events. Community outreach may involve outdoor work and varying weather conditions. Once the club opens, work takes place throughout an active fitness environment with varying noise levels.

Duties involve prolonged standing and walking, computer use, bending, reaching, and lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds. After opening, responsibilities also include cleaning and sanitizing designated club areas.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Reporting Structure
Reports to the General Manager, with daily direction and support from the Assistant General Manager and designated club leadership
Compensation: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
