Position Title:             Personal Training Lead (PTL)

Reporting To:             Fitness Manager (FM)

Job Description:         Personal Training Lead's (PTL) are responsible for developing their own client base and personal sales (training and Dotfit supplements). PTL's are looked to as a knowledge base and head Personal Trainer that will support the Fitness Manager to train the PT team on sales, products, and grow the personal training business in the club.

As Personal Trainers we are committed to the following: Our Personal Trainers provide customized fitness programs to our members while educating and guiding them on proper nutrition, cardiovascular exercise, resistance training and attaining a healthier lifestyle. Clients sign up with a personal trainer to be motivated, educated, and held accountable while working towards their fitness goals. By definition, a personal trainer is a fitness professional possessing the knowledge, skills and abilities for safe and effective exercise and fitness program design, instruction and assistance for the purpose of reaching personal health and fitness goals.

Requirements:

  • 4-year college degree preferred Fitness management experience preferred.
  • 3 years of sales experience with proven results.
  • Administration experience.
  • Current CPR/AED Certification and basic First Aid knowledge.
  • Currently Nationally in one of the following: NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE, NEPT, ISSA.
  • Hour and day flexibility to work any schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively and efficiently promote our proprietary Crunch fitness platforms to all members, guests, and staff.
  • Hire/train a highly effective team promoting great fitness programing and customer service; focusing on the development and education of staff, clients and guests. Dedicate 10 hours per week to developing the team
  • Punctual and prepared for all appointments with clients and staff meetings. Servant leadership abilities through motivation and education.
  • Desire to help clients reach their health and fitness goals through proper techniques and resources.
  • Promotes marketing of DotFit supplement sales to clients/members
  • Meets/exceeds monthly sales goal of Dotfit supplements
  • Conducts Crunch Fitness Orientations according to company protocol and trains team how to do the same.
  • Educates members and team on current health and fitness issues and trends
  • Exceptional member service orientation and possesses outstanding communication skills
  • Experience in designing exercise programs tailored to the needs of specific client goals and has the experience needed to teach other trainers to do the same.
  • Maintains personal integrity, personal health and fitness.
  • Promotes, sells personal training programs, and services and assists staff in doing so.
  • Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry.
  • Ensures personal training department reaches all sales goals including - supplements, personal training, small group training.
  • Meets/exceeds personal sales goals for the month.
  • Schedules team members appropriately for floor hours and Crunch Orientations; assisting in closing the sales.
  • Uses time management skills to use personal floor hours efficiently.
  • Schedules meetings when needed.
  • Assist Fitness Manager in all directives

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting heavy weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting & prolonged standing and walking. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
